Celtic have wrapped up another SPL title with room to spare, but will they be challenged next year? WIll Walter Smith's resurgent Rangers stake a claim, or can Edinburgh rivals Hibs or Hearts or Eastern giants Aberdeen upset the norm?

Thre's no chance of anybody else competing against the OF. They have too much clout. As usual it will be a three tiered league with the old Firm at the top, Aberdeen Hearts Hibs & Killie all fighting for the second league and the rest fighting it out to see who can be the biggest of the small fish!

Hmmm... I admire your optimism Connor. But you're right - the Saints could have a good season next year. But the biggest danger to Celtic, unsurprisingly, could be Rangers, who are snapping up quite a few strikers this summer, having shored up their defence well since Walter Smith took over.

OK - I admit I'm a blue-nose but I really believe it will be closer next season. Rangers now have a a more recognised management team but it can only last for a year or two. The trick will be to grow the player pool properly and put things in place for a new regime which will take the whole club forward. Who knows what the next developments in Scottish football will be ( I don't believe the SFA /SPL hierarchy has a clue) but I would reckon there will be major changes in the next 3 - 5 years.

Is there anyone out there to discuss/argue?

As the Glasgow Guru I only have one thing to say - WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIEND, AND WE'LL KEEP ON FIGHTING TIL THE END!

There's only one tean that are going to win the SPL next season guys - it's a dead fish of a debate - better off wasting your time discussing something that merits discussion...

OK ..... but think about how much saint mirren have lost and gained since my last comment.Craig dargo could be the opening they were looking for .Im going to the first saint mirren game against celtic the saints will stand their ground a show no surrender.

I hate the fact that bigger teams lose one game and they think the worlds over where as the small fish E.G gretna Saint mirren keep on trying

Over and out

Would you rather that the top teams were graceful about losing mate? Because that's not going to happen. Maybe the smaller teams should be less accepting of a loss and work harder to win more concistently.
