Dunfermline twins Darren and Chris Campbell gained huge experience playing for GB in the Istanbul Youth tournament.

And by finishing fifth out of six the youngsters learned that a lot of hard work is needed before next year’s attempt to qualify for the European Junior Championships.

The sole victory for the GB side came in a 12-7 scoreline against the Ukraine. The Fife twins scored two goals a-piece.

In the opening match, France beat GB 12-4, and the other results were Turkey B 7 GB 5, Turkey A 12 GB 9 and, finally, Germany 15 GB 3. Germany were the overall winners.
