More glory for Dunfermline

Dunfermline won the under-21 Scottish Cup last month - now the Fife club has added the under-14 Scottish Cup with a comfortable 23-9 win over Warrender.

Dunfermline was able to call on seven members of the team that won the British
Under-16 Cup and edged a close first quarter 6-5. The turning point was the second quarter, Dunfermline surging into a 13-6 at half-time.

Goalkeeper Jake Hinley was brought outfield to play the final two quarters
as Dunfermline started to rotate their players and control the match.

The third quarter was drawn 2-2 and, with Warrender tiring, Dunfermline won the final quarter 8-1 for the 23-9 victory.

Seven of the Dunfermline team go forward to try and complete the hat-trick in the under-16 Scottish Cup final against Menzieshill at the Carnegie Centre next Tuesday.

Dunfermline's winning team: Jake Hinley, Alexander Johnstone, Joe Thomson, Calum Ironside, Craig Wilkinson, Daniel Woodall, Christopher Campbell, Nicola Tate, Harry Hewitt, Darren Campbell, Luke Thomson, Liam Rodger and James Pulham.

Scorers: Darren Campbell (10), Jake Hinley, Craig Wilkinson, Christopher
