Cup final goes ahead

Porty still in it after withdrawal threat
Dunfermline will take on Portobello in the rearranged Scottish men’s Cup final at HMS Caledonia at Rosyth on Monday, June 22.
Portobello pulled out of the original fixture at the end of last month as they could not raise a team.
In the semi-finals, holders Dunfermline, with the promising teenage twins Darren and Christopher among the scorers, beat Menzieshill, while Portobello knocked out Edinburgh University.
The women’s Cup final between Dunfermline and Menzieshill has yet to be played.
