Caledonia finish season in a respectable 4th position

The only Scottish women’s team in the National League – Caledonia – has finished a very respectable fourth in Division 3.
Despite the burden of the travel arrangements, the team that is a composite of Menzieshill and Dunfermline finished in the top half of the eight-team league.
Manchester – the home of British water polo – won the division with Liverpool in second place and then Sheffield in third. The Scots finished ahead of Cardiff, Bristol, Invicta and Sunderland.
Caroline Connor was Caledonia’s top scorer with 22 goals – she finished tenth in the season’s rankings.
