Andrew’s great double

A double cause for celebration this week for Dunfermline’s talented water polo player Andrew Woodall. The youngster has won the Scottish Junior Player of the Year Award and been named in the Scottish team for the Willie Mellors Invitational Tournament.

The senior Scottish player of the year award went to Portobello’s Neilson Rutherford.

Woodall is joined by another three Dunfermline players in the Scottish team for the Invitational event in Aldershot. The others are Simon Metcalfe, Robert Tate and David Baxter.

The full squad is: Simon Metcalfe, Robert Tate, Andrew Woodall, Stewart Carlile, David Baxter, Elliot Robertson, Stevie Adams, Lewis Don, Steven Cuthbert, James Scobie, Tom Crammond, David Armstrong and Callum MacGregor

Morrison, who will start for Scotland in their opening RBS 6 Nations clash against Wales on Sunday, is one of the club's longest-serving players.
