England too strong for Scotland in showpiece u-19s clash
Scotland's Under-19 teams suffered double defeats at the Scottish Volleyball Association's 40th anniversary celebrations at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall.
The women's team lost to England Under-19s 18-25 20-25 12-25 in their opener.
The young side then showed improve in the return match and took the first set before losgin 27-25 16-25 16-25 11-25.
Scotland's Under-19 men's team suffered a similar fate against Great Britain Lions Under-19s, coached by head GB coach Harry Brokking.
After taking a set in the first match (18-25 15-25 25-17 13-25), the Scots lost the second game 17-25 16-25 16-25.
