Edinburgh's Robin Miedzybrodzki and Spanish-born partner John Garcia-Thompson have been awarded a wildcard into the main draw for the English Masters beach event in Blackpool from September 10-13.

The event has attracted some of Europe's top players and is part of the offical grand prix circuit.

Former Scottish indoor international Shauna Mullin and English partner Zara Dampney are in the women's main draw.

Team Edinburgh's Mel Coutts will play with England's Denise Austin in the qualifying event.
