Scotland West win best overall team award at UK School Games
Scotland West won the best overall team at the UK School Games in Cardiff.
The boys' team won the silver medal after a narrow 25-22 9-25 13-15 loss to England Central in the final.
There was bronze for the girls' team who lost narrowly in the semi-finals to England South (13-25 24-26) but beat England Central 25-15 25-13 in the bronze medal play-off.
The performances were enough to give Scotland West the best overall team award.
There were also some individual awards: Emma Clarkson of Scotland East won best server, Jamie McHardy (also Scotland East) won best attacker and Andrew Mcgregor (Scotland West) was voted best passer.
