Scottish duo put debut loss down to experience

Edinburgh pair Colin Macnab and Gavin Watt lost 16-21 12-21 to Serbia's Stefan Basta and Igror Tesic at the European Under-23 Beach Championships in Yantarniy, Russia.
Macnab and Watt, the first Scots to compete in the event, failed to come through their group but knew the stadard would be tough.
"We're still young enough to compete in next year's event, pointed out Macnab.
