Scottish Volleyball sign sponsorship deal with Japanese sports company
The Scottish Volleyball Association have hooked up with another major international sponsor as it seeks to grow the game in this country.
Japanese sports equipment firm Mikasa have signed a four-year sponsorship deal with the national association which means the new MVA200 balls will be used in national league matches.
It is a considerable coup by the SVA after signing up with another major equipment company Schelde Sports to back the national league at the start of the season.
“Securing this sponsorship deal with Mikasa, Japan has been a challenge, and we at Scottish volleyball are delighted that such a massive global company recognise the value and benefits of supporting the development of volleyball in our country,” said SVA chief executive Margaret Ann Fleming.
