Early exit for Shauna Mullin at World Beach Championships
Edinburgh's Shauna Mullin and English partner Zara Dampney lost their opening match at the World Beach Championships in Stavanger, Norway.
Up against number four seeds Nicole Branagh and Elaine Youngs, the British pair went down 13-25 14-25.
It was a tough baptism for the pair who are building towards the Olympics in London in 2012.
The GB pair now face Germans Geeske Bancke and Anja Gunther, seeded 21 for the event, in their second match in their opening pool with a more realistic chance of creating an upset.
