Glasgow Mets claimed the first silverware of the Scottish season when they won the men's Top Teams Cup in Wishaw.

The Scottish Cup holders were taken all the way by City of Edinburgh but eventually won the final 25-18 15-25 23-25 29-27 18-16.

Edinburgh had earlier beaten City of Glsagow Ragazzi in straight sets in the semi-finals.

In the women's event, Troon PA triumphed with a 25-21 25-21 24-26 25-15 final win over Team Edinburgh.

It maintained the Ayrshire side's unbeaten domestic record this season.
