Troon PA's Gillian Lyall has announced she is retiring from international volleyball at the age of 36.
Lyall, who has played for Scotland for the past six years, won her final cap against Liechtenstein at last month's European Championships Small Nations tournament in the Faroes.
The Troon player would have won many more caps but Scotland did not have an international team for ten years due to lack of funding.
"There is absolutely no doubt that Gillian's enthusiasm, energy and ability will be missed by the Scotland side," said head coach John French.
Scotland missed out on qualifying for the European finals on set percentage.
