Lamont and McGivern keen to be involved
Chris Lamont is winning his fitness battle and is set to finally make his European League debut for Great Britain in Rotterdam next month.
The former Glasgow Ragazzi player misses this weekend's third round of the league in Sheffield due to a niggling back problem.
It ruled him out of the trip to Slovakia earlier this month but he has resumed training and fellow-Scot Mark McGivern has been filling in.
McGivern will also be handed a key role this weekend as the British team face Portugal, Slovakia and Greece as they seek to make an impact on the group.
Paul Glissov, who spent the season playing with Rucanor Jets in the Scottish League, has been handed a chance to prove himself at this level.
