GB show promise

GB men provide convincing displays ahead of European League matches
Great Britain men's team promised much ahead of this weekend's European League matches against Croatia at Meadowbank by troubling European champions Spain in Valladolid.
Although GB lost both matches (3-0 and 3-1), they fought toe-to-toe over the two encounters.
Scots Mark McGivern and Chris Lamont both played their part and confidence in the camp is high ahead of the double-header with the Croatians - GB's first matches in Scotland for 16 years.
The GB women's team are still searching for a win in the European League after losing 3-0 twice to Romania in Constanta.
The teams face up again at Meadowbank this weekend.
