Mullin and Dempney crash out of Beach comp in the Netherlands
Former Scottish indoor international Shauna Mullin and English partner Zara Dempney suffered disappointment at The Hague Beach Open in the Netherlands.
Seeded number two in the qualifying event, the GB pair received a bye through the opening round.
But they then lost a tight final qualification battle with Slovenian number 18 seeds Erika Fabjan and Simona Fabjan.
Mullin and Dempney took the first set but then went out 21-17 13-21 17-19.
