Double trouble for GB

Team GB stumble in men's European League
Great Britain's hopes of reaching the Final Four of the men's European League were dealt a double blow at the hands of Turkey in Amasya.
Turkey won Saturday's opener 25-14 25-16 25-20 but GB gave them a scare in yesterday's return before going down 29-31 27-25 22-25 19-25.
The result on the second day - in which Scot Chris Lamont made a solid contribution - suggests GB can turn the tables when the teams meet again in Norwich this weekend.
The GB women's team gave a good account of themselves on Saturday against the Turks before losing 22-25 25-23 20-25 22-25 but went down heavily on Sunday 11-25 12-25 14-25.
