City do the double
Double joy as City of Edinbuirgh claim men's and women's titles
City of Edinburgh gained their first major honour when they captured the men's Top Teams Cup at Wishaw Sports Centre.
Edinburgh were too strong for Bon Accord as they won 25-19 25-19 26-24 in the final.
It completed a double over the Aberdeen side as 24 hours earlier Edinburgh had beaten Bon Accord 28-27 25-20 25-15 to keep their lead at the top of the Schelde Sports Scottish League.
In the women's Top Teams Cup final, City of Edinburgh produced a shock 25-8 25-21 25-22 win over Troon PA, last season's treble winners.
