Mixed fortunes for Brits in Euros

Great Britain's volleyball teams had mixed fortunes as they bid to make an impact on the European Championships at the weekend.
The GB men's team reached the second round group stages in spite of losing their second leg to Denmark 25-14 30-32 26-24 21-25 8-15.
The British team led by five points after winning last Thursday's first leg in five sets and managed to hold onto the lead.
Scot Chris Lamont played his part and some strong serving helped the GB team take the important third set.
The GB women's team, leading 3-1 from the first leg against Albania, lost 15-25 17-25 20-25 in the return in Tirana and crashed out of the championships.
