
Bright start from Mullin

Shauna Mullin produces convincing performance at opening FIVB World Beach tour event of the year
Scot Shauna Mullin and English partner Zara Dampney finished a creditable 17th in the first FIVB World Beach tour event of the year in Brasilia, Brazil.
After beating German number 20 seeds Claudia Lehmann and Julia Sude 21-19 20-22 15-13, the GB pair went down to Brazilians Ana Paula Connelly and Shelda Bede, seeded three, 13-21 12-21.
Mullin and Dampney head to Shanghai this week in a bid to further improve at the second event on the world tour.
The pair have set their sights on London 2012 and are making good progress.
