Scot Lynne Beattie is to captain Great Britain when they play their first matches on Scottish soil this weekend.

The former Su Ragazzi player will take the lead role when GB face Romania in a double-header at Meadowbank this weekend.

"Having worked closely with Lynne, she has good leadership qualities," said GB coach Audrey Cooper.

GB are still looking for their first win in the European League but Cooper took many positives out of last weekend's performances in Romania in spite of a double defeat.
