Top seed Jamie Baker knocked out in qualifying
Glasgow's Jamie Baker suffered a shock 7-6 1-6 6-3 defeat by American Jarmere Jenkins in the qualifying event for the ITF Challenger event in Charlottesville, Virgninia.
The Scottish number two lost the first set 7-4 on the tie-break but came back to take the match to a third set.
Jenkins is one of America's top college prospects and hit back to book his place in the next round.
Baker, who has risen to 346 in the world, was top seed in the qualifying event after impressing on his comeback tour of Thailand and Australia last month.
