

Sunny skies and pristine conditions prevail for Scottish Open
Blue skies and sunshine was the order of play at Craiglockhart on Monday, in the qualifying rounds of the Scottish Open.
The Men’s qualifying is completed, with Brits Richard Bloomfield, Jack Carpenter, Matthew Illingworth and Daniel Evans making it successfully through to the Main Draw.
Glaswegian Calum Gee (17), is in action today after he was awarded a wildcard into the main draw. He will face number 3 seed Raphael Durek (AUT), who is currently ranked 423.
Young Scots, Stewart Crerar (17) and James McKie (17) where awarded wildcards into the qualifying rounds, and met each other in the first round, with James coming from a set down to win 2-6, 7-5, 6-2. James met Daniel Evans in the next round, losing 6-0, 6-1.
