Rusedski backs Murray's grand slam dreams

Former British number one Greg Rusedski has tipped Andy Murray to break his grand slam duck in 2009.

Murray will be the first British male to break into the world?s top three when the new rankings are published next week.

And Rusedski, who reached a high of fourth during his career, believes the 21-year-old has the ability to take one of the three remaining majors this year.

"The next year is critical for him," said Rusedski. "I believe he can get that first slam and once he gets over that hurdle there maybe more to come.

"He is in good shape and if he continues to perform as he has this year he has a good chance to win Wimbledon.

"He should do fantastically well if he is healthy, he can handle the pressure. I can see him getting to the semis, if not further.?
