Andy Murray to face Federer in Tour Finals group stage
Andy Murray has been drawn in the same group as Roger Federer at the ATP Tour Finals at the O2 Arena, which start on Sunday.
The British number one, seeded fourth for the season finale, is chasing his first Tour Finals win in London.
He pulled his own name out of the hat to face the world number one at Wednesday's draw ceremony at the London Eye.
The Scot holds a 6-3 career record over Federer, including a three-set victory at last year's Tour Finals in Shanghai.
However, he lost his last match against the Wimbledon champion at August's Cincinnati Masters.
Group A will also feature a rematch of this year's US Open final after Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro was drawn in the same group as Federer, with Spain's Fernando Verdasco making up the fourth spot.
Meanwhile, Group B features Australian Open Rafael Nadal, who can end his season as world number one if results fall his way in London.
But the Spaniard will have to get past Serbia's world number three Novak Djokovic, who made light work of him less than a week ago on his way to lifting the Paris Masters trophy.
Nadal will also lock horns with Roland Garros conquerer Robin Soderling for the first time since the Swede became the first person to defeat the Mallorcan on the Paris clay.
Russian Nikolay Davydenko makes up the numbers in Group B with Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga waiting in the wings to replace any withdrawals.
