Wimbledon awaits centre court apperance of Andy Murray
Andy Murray is refusing to talk up his chances of winning Wimbledon ahead of his first round clash with Robert Kendrick this afternoon.
The 22-year-old has been tipped to reach the final at the All England Club this year following the withdrawal of reigning champion Rafael Nadal.
But world number three Murray insists he is only looking as far as his clash with Kendrick on centre court today.
"You just focus on one match at a time and try and win one best-of-five-set match every couple of days and not get ahead of yourself," said Murray.
"I feel like I've got a chance but you have to play great to win a grand slam.
"It's very easy to say, 'Oh, Rafa's not playing, Andy's got a much easier route to the final. 'I don't view it like that at all."
