
Mackin leads Giffnock to final

Giffnock into final of Scottish Cup
Great Britain Davis Cup player Alan Mackin led Giffnock into the final of the Aegon Scottish Cup.
Mackin, who has retired from international tennis, helped Giffnock to a narrow 5-4 win over Glasgow rivals Newlands.
Giffnock will now meet holders Stirling University in this weekend's final at Craiglockhart.
The students had an easier passage to the final, defeating Dean 5-2 in their semi-final tie.
The women's final will be a repeat last year ith Dunfermline favourites to retain their title against Newlands.
The Fife club whitewashed Helensburgh 6-0 while Newlands ended Blackhall's hopes with 5-1 success.
