Close call at European Juniors as Keddie claims silver in singles and doubles
Monifieth's Alice Keddie finished runer-up in both singles and doubles at the Tennis Europe Junior tour event in Werexham.
A pupil at the national academy at St Geroge's School in Edinburgh, the Scottish Under-12 champion battled her way into the final of the Under-14 event.
She lost in the singles final to England's Beth Askew 6-2 6-1.
She reached the doubles final with another English player Hariet Dart but went down to Belgian pair Elise Martens and Michelle Werbrouk 7-5 6-1.
