Jamie Murray remains on course in Wimbledon mixed doubles
Jamie Murray remains on course to win a Wimbledon title for the second time as he secured his place in the fourth round of the mixed doubles.
Partnering American Liezel Huber, Murray overcame sixth seeds Mike Bryan and Bethanie Mattek-Sands while brother Andy was on centre court in his singles quarter-final match against Juan Carlos Ferrero.
Murray, who won the title in 2007 with Jelena Jankovic, and Huber secured a 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 victory at the All England Club.
It was a welcome victory for the older Murray brother who has seen his doubles ranking slip to 75 in the world after a succession of defeats on the ATP tour.
But Murray and Huber have form ? the duo reached the final of the US Open last year before losing to Leander Paes and Cara Black at Flushing Meadows.
