Aberdeen's Joanna Henderson, seeded eighth, lost 6-3 6-3 to number two seed Samantha Vickers (Lincs) in the quarter-finals of the AEGON ITF junior event in Nottingham.

Henderson had reached the last eight with a 6-3 6-4 win over Surrey's Ruth Seaborne.

The player also lost out in the doubles with Morven McCulloch (St Andrews).

After beating Lottie Fox and Emily Southall 6-2 6-4 in the first round, they lost out to another English pair Sabrina Bamburac and Grace Lymer Sullivan 6-1 6-4.
