Henderson bid ends

Aberdeen's Joanna Henderson mised out on a place in the last 32 of the girls' singles at the Orange Bowl in Miami.

Henderson, playing in the Under-14 event, reached the last 64 with a 6-4 6-4 win over Brazil's Laura Andrade.

But the British number three went down in straight sets to unseeded American Sachia Vickery 6-1 6-4.

Henderson was seeded in the 17-32 bracket and was hoping to make her mark at the event.
