Aberdeen's Joanna Henderson reached the final of the AEGON National Under-16 Winter Series event in Roehampton.

Henderson, seeded three, beat top seed Lucy Brown 6-2 6-3 in the semi-final.

But she then went down to number two seed Hannah Martin-Merchant 6-4 3-6 1-6 in the final.

Marven McCulloch (St Andrews) put out number four seed Taro Keens 7-6 6-4 in her first round match but then lost 4-6 4-6 to Daneika Borthwick.
