Fleming disposes of top seed in first round of Aegon Pro-Series in Glasgow
Scottish number three Colin Fleming secured another notable result as he ousted top seed Richard Bloomfield in the first round of the Aegon Pro-Series at Scotstoun.
The Linlithgow player, given a wildcard entry to the event, won in straight sets 7-6 6-3, taking the first set 7-1 on the tie-break.
Given that his opponent is ranked 349 places above him in the world rankings, it was another remarkable result from the Scot who now goes on to face Daniel Cox.
Scottish number two Jamie Baker also won through his first round tie, beating number eight seed Frederic Jean-Claude from France 7-6 (8-6) 6-2.
