Colin Fleming's run in the ITF Futures event in Rethymno, Greece, came to an end in the quarter-finals.

Up against number five seed Daniel Danilovic (Montenegro), the Scot went down narrowly 7-5 7-6, losing the tie break 11-9.

The Linlithgow player had come through the qualifying rounds and beaten top seed Bogdan-Victor Leonte to reach the last eight.

After quitting from the top level a couple of years ago, Fleming has had a rethink and his recent form will give him a much-improved world ranking.
