Fleming misses out on Davis Cup
Scottish number three Colin Fleming has missed out on a chance to play for Britain in the Davis Cup match against Ukraine at Braehead next weekend.

Fleming was involved in a shoot-out in Roehampton with his rivals to play alongside Andy Murray, if he recovers from a virus.

GB captain John Lloyd has announced that the two available places have gone to Josh Goodall - who beat Fleming on Monday - and Chris Eaton.

"Josh has really impressed me. His attitude has been first rate leading up to and throughout the play-offs. He’s worked hard and has matured very quickly," Lloyd said.

"Chris showed at Wimbledon that he can perform under a lot of pressure. He’s gone about his job very diligently this week. He’s played extremely well and I’m very pleased with him."

Fleming will be in attendance at Braehead to offer support to the team.
