Fantastic Fleming claims scalp against second seed Cerovic
Unseeded Colin Fleming ousted number two seed Ivan Cerovic 6-1 6-3 in the first round of the Glasgow International at Scotstoun.
The Croatian is currently more than 500 places higher than the Scot in the world rankings but Fleming has taken a few notable scalps in recent weeks.
Fellow Scot Jamie Baker, seeded three, went out at the first hurdle 7-6 7-6 yo Daniel Danilovic from Montenegro in the first round.
There was also disappointment for Dunblane teenager Katie Gater in the women's singles.
She battled hard to reach the final qualifying round but then went down to German Mona Barthel 6-2 6-1.
