Jamie Baker was edged out of a fourth successive ITF Futures title when he was beaten in the final of the tournament in Port Pirie, Autralia.
The Glasgow player has been in commanding form on his comeback tour of Thailand and Australia in recent weeks but was just edged out in the final by Matthew Ebden (Australia) 6-2 6-4.
Baker had already beaten Ebden in tournaments in Darwin and Adelaide but Ebden was out for revenge.
The Scot now returns home but is expected to leave for America later this month to take part in Challenger events.
