Federer warns Murray to be wary of challenges en-route to French final
Roger Federer believes Andy Murray's route to the French Open final is still pitted with danger.
Murray plays Fernando Gonzalez in the quarter-finals at Roland Garros.
Should he win that, he will face either Russian Nikolay Davydenko or Nadal's conqueror Robin Soderling in the last four, with Federer, a three-time finalist, a potential final opponent.
"Andy has a good chance of making the finals but Davydenko is not an easy player to face if that is the semi-final," he added.
"He's been written off a little bit and that is disappointing to hear because I think he is a great player.
"He was in the top four for long time and then he got unfortunate with injuries and couldn't keep his ranking. The draw is wide open, we've got some great players left in."
