Colin Fleming drops out of ITF Futures event in first round
Colin Fleming lost out in the first round of the ITF Futures event in the Ivory Coast after a tough three-set battle with Russia's Ilya Balyaev.
The Scottish number three pushed the number six seed all the way before going down 6-7 7-6 6-2.
After taking the fist set on a 7-2 tie-break, Fleming had chances to win it in straight sets but the Russian won the second set on a 7-5 tie-break and controlled the final set.
Fleming must now concentrate on the double with Engish partner Ken Skupski.
In last week's event in the Ivory Coast, the pair reached the semi-finals before losing out.
