Baker's Thai break

Jamie Baker showed he has recovered from the lengthy illness that threatened his career by reaching the semi-finals of the ITF Futures event in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

Baker, unseeded, came through three matches without dropping a set to face Canadian number seven seed Milos Raonic in the last four.

The Canadian took the first set before Baker hit back strongly but it was Raonic who held it together in the final set to come through 6-2 1-6 6-3.

Baker plays in another Futures event in the same city this week and has been drawn to face Thai wildcard Peerakit Siributwong in his opening match.
