Glasgow's Jamie Baker beat Australian qualifier Isaac Frost 7-5 7-6 to reach the last eight of the ITF Futures event in Darwin, Australia.

Baker, on his comeback tour after serious illness, now meets number two seed Robert Smeets (Australia) for a place in the semi-finals.

Smeets has not dropped a set in the tournament so far but Baker showed his form by winning a Futures event in Thailand earlier this month.

Also through to the last eight is favourite John Millman, another Australian.
