Jamie Baker qualifies for main draw at $50,000 Challenger event
Jamie Baker has battled his way into the main draw at the ITF $50,000 Challenger event in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Scottish number two had to come through three qualifying roudns but booked his place with a 6-4 6-2 win over American Nicholas Munroe.
The Glasgow player now meets South African qualifier Raven Klaasen in the first round.
Baker has entered a series of Challenger events in America in a bid to improve his world ranking before the end of the year.
