Baker falls at quarter-final stages in Dominican Republic
Glasgow's Jamie Baker lost out in the quarter-finals of the ITF Futures event in the Dominican Republic.
Baker, seeded three, beat Portuguese qualifier Pedro Sousa 6-2 6-0 to reach the last eight.
But he suffered disappointment against Russian Russian Andrey Kumantsov and went down in the quarter-finals in straight sets 6-3 6-3.
Kumantsov now goes on to face Spain's Jose Checa-Calvo for a place in the final.
