Andy Murray eases into first grass court final at Queen's
Andy Murray has slowed been moving through the gears at the AEGON Championships and he effortlessly slipped into overdrive to book his place in Sunday's final.
The British number one had not been tested at Queen's ahead of his semi-final clash with former world number one Juan Carlos Ferrero, but the 2003 French Open champion was expected to provide a stiffer challenge.
Murray wasted no time in disposing of the Spaniard however, and romped into tomorrow's final with a 6-2, 6-4 victory as he continues his quest to become the first Brit to be victorious at the west London club in 71 years.
"I served really well today," said Murray. "It was a really good match - I was really tested out there and had to really raise my game.
"The second set was really difficult and he came back at me but fortunately I had enough to get through it.
"I haven't been on court all that long here and that was the case again today. Hopefully that will continue in the final tomorrow.
"Right from the start I've started to play well and that is something I've continued throughout the tournament."
