Scots learn tough lessons at Youth Championships
Scotland had to be content with 32nd place in the junior boys' team event at the European Youth Championships in Terni, Italy.
After losing 3-0 to Switzerland, Scotland faced Finland in their final match but went down 3-2.
Benedek Olah proved the difference as he beat Scottish number one Craig Howieson 12-10 11-1 11-13 11-8.
He then followed up by defeating Craig Hardie 5-11 11-3 11-6 11-7 in the match decider.
Scotland's junior girls' team finished 33rd in their event.
