Gavin Rumgay drops out fighting from World Championships
Scottish number one Gavin Rumgay tumbled out of the World Championships in Yokohama, Japan, but not before giving world number 66 Zoltan Fejer-Konnerth a scare.
Rumgay, who is currently ranked 257, gave his German opponent a tough workout before going down 6-11 11-9 9-11 10-12 7-11.
The Perth player had come through his qualifying group in impressive fashion.
He won his qualifying group with an 11-6 12-10 11-8 11-9 win over Guyana's Paul David after thrashing Brunei's Haji Yusop 11-4 11-1 11-0 11-7.
