
Mixed fortunes for Scots

Scotland win one and lose one at European Championships
Scotland went down 3-0 to Norway in their opening match at the European Championships in Stuttgart.
Edinburgh's Craig Howieson came closest to winning a tie when he led Espen Ronneberg 11-9 11-9 but then lost the next three games 5-11 4-11 9-11.
But Scotland bounced back to beat Switzerland 3-1 in their next match.
Stewart Crawford lost the opening tie but Gavin Rumgay and Howieson both won before Crawford clinched victory with an 11-7 15-13 11-8 win over Nic Mohler.
