Edinburgh's Craig Howieson won the first Scottish senior ranking tournament of the season at Meadowmill.

Howieson finished ahead of Craig Hardie, his team-mate at the recent Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, in the final ranking.

Scottish number one Gavin Rumgay did not enter and number two Stewart Crawford pulled out due to 'flu.

Gillian Edwards won the women's event ahead of Corinna Whitaker.
