Drum finish third

Drumchapel, the first Scottish club to host a European League round, finished third in their pool.

The Scots were without Scotland international Craig Howieson who was on duty at the UK School Games in Bath.

Terry McLernon junior filled in and the matches attracted a capacity crowd to Drumchapel High School.

It started well enough with a 3-1 win over Portugal's San Roque.

But Drumchapel lost their remaining matches - 3-0 to Vorsas (Hungary) and 3-1 to group winners Istanbul.
